You'll be chewing through teams with this effect, especially after ramping with your passive and basic.īase: Special damage to all enemies and 75% chance to use Etherial Punch.įinal: Win the match Special damage to all enemies and 75% chance to use Etherial Punch. This is very Black Adam-esque down to the basic usage, but it's not gated behind health totals. Spectre unleashes the full power of WB's wrath on the enemy team, dealing HUGE damage and giving him a 75% chance to use Etherial Punch. Yeah, his rework feels punishing alright. Very strong effect, would recommend it second. This means that you'll typically want to have stun immune or self-purging characters higher up in your team order to eat the stun. This is part of what makes him dangerous, stunning 2 enemies with a non-damaging move is huge! I will say, the stun seems to prioritize targets based on team positioning (leaders have the highest chance, with 2nd onwards in decreasing order). Legendary: Apply an additional stun to a random enemy. 75% chance to purge all buffs on target.įinal: Apply 20% meter down and stun. This effect is massive for getting around taunts, and comes in handy against a huge amount of meta picks like Azreal, Barda, Arkkis, and the like.īase: Apply 10% meter down and stun. You can also increase the meter drained and chance to purge ALL buffs from the enemy. Sinestro approves! Spectre hits an enemy with crippling fear, reducing their meter by and stunning them. This is generally useful, I'd recommend it fourth overall though since certain other abilities have a bit more weight. In combination with his passive meter gain and his 3rd ability using his basic, this can set you up for a huge swing combination where you take 2 turns in a row and punch holes in the opponents defenses. Ignore shields and gain 2 permanent int ups (deals 50% more damage). Ignore shields and gain 2 permanent int ups.įinal: Special damage to an enemy. This under-shield punch lets him overcome some choice threats as well like Azreal and Arkkis who usually rely on their shields to circumvent damage in the end-game.īase: Special damage to an enemy. This is an incredibly strong tool for closing out a match, as in combination with his 5th legendary ability, makes it almost impossible to reliably 1v1 him. He always makes sure to bring plenty of "punch"! Spectre wallops his opponent, gaining permanent int ups and ignoring enemy shields. This makes his ring priority a bit weird, but we'll get to that later. Baseline, he's a character who doesn't gain much in terms of extra effects from his skill levels, more just raw damage and consistency. Outside of the first 2, the final 3 points can be used as you see fit (I'll be sure to cover an alternate build path later). Spectre's abilities are universally good, although certain legendaries do take the cake over others. Spectre has no leader ability, and is well suited to any kind of team as he provides strong buff purging and stun effects as well as high damage output. He also has built-in acceleration that can allow him to very quickly get out of control. Spectre is reasonably fast at 120 speed, allowing you to utilize certain combinations and team ordering to maximize his output. He's a massive on-kill scaler that can build his power from souls on either side of the battlefield! Spectre is a blue hero who focuses on high damage with some control elements built in. While we will discuss it here, the assumption is it will be fixed and, as a result, won't come into play in the final breakdowns. I can't fully do him justice in this insight, but I can still give some tips and ideas for how to get the most out of yours. What's this? Another insight and it's not 8 months after the last one? How strange! How strange indeed! I figure that since we covered Stargirl in the last one, we should cover the other rework here: Spectre!Īs you've probably heard, Spectre is a monster.
